The program takes place during Summer I 2017, with two weeks of study abroad in Riva San Vitale, Switzerland, plus completion of course work online. This program is designed for students who are unable to spend a whole semester abroad, but who are interested in the European experience.
You will spend two weeks surrounded by the Alps in beautiful Riva San Vitale Switzerland. Students live in a dormitory owned and maintained by Virginia Tech and earn credits from Virginia Tech faculty. The courses they take will fulfill requirements on their check sheets for Multimedia Journalism, Public Relations, or Communication Studies. Students who aren't majors in the Department of Communication can receive elective credits for participating in the program.
